Whipped Shea Butter
Treat yourself and your skin with our luxurious, super moisturizing whipped shea butter! Our whipped shea butter is made with all-natural organic plant based ingredients. It is mostly organic shea butter, with some organic babassu oil, a little organic argan oil, and some vitamin E oil to act as an antioxidant to preserve the oils/butters from going rancid.
Whipped shea butter is light and fluffy to the touch, and quickly melts into your skin/hair to provide intense moisturizing to your skin or hair. We find whipped shea to be perfect for dry, chapped, or rough skin. This would be a great moisturizer to use right after the shower/bath when your skin is warm, or just before bedtime. A little bit goes a long way.
All of our shea butters are lightly scented, if at all. Those that are scented, use only 100% pure essential oils; we do not use any fragrance oils in our shea butter. We do not put any artificial hardening agents into our whipped shea butter. Whipped shea butter is extremely temperature sensitive. If it is heated above about 75 degrees it will start to melt (and deflate) and the fluffy texture will start to solidify. It can still be used, but the texture could be changed significantly, it will be a good bit harder than intended. To prevent your whipped shea butter from melting it is best stored at room temperature, or slightly less. It will also start to stiffen up at cold temperatures.
Please note: due to the nature of this product, we do not make or ship this product in the warmer months of the year.
If you did stock up on this, you can store extra whipped shea butter in your refrigerator for longer term storage to keep it fresh. The large whipped shea butter is in an 8 fl. oz. container. The small whipped shea is in a 2 fl. oz. container. So the large container holds approximately 4 times as much as the small one by volume.
These measurements do not reflect the actual weight of the shea butter, we measure it by volume. The container is packed 100% full when it is made.
Liked the ease in applying - also liked the peppermint Shea butter.
My WHIPPED SHEA BUTTER is hard and very oily. Isn't it suppose to be whipped and creamy?
I love the whipped cocoa butter and use it everyday on my face as a moisturizer. I have had issues with eczema for years and used it all, including steroid creams that are bad for you. I recently had a bad eczema spot on my ear and decided to try the whipped cocoa butter instead of a prescription. After 3 days, my eczema was completely cleared up! Amazing! I am so happy and will never use the harsh steroids again!! Try it, you won’t be sorry!!!
Absolutely amazed with the quality of this product!
I would highly recommend this product.
I love it!
Organic Shea Butter
Organic Shea butter comes from the fruit nuts of the "Tree of Life" for its unsurpassed ability to protect and regenerate the skin and add moisture and protection to the hair. Used topically Shea Butter is known to be a "skin superfood" that nourishes skin to promote its clarity and address problems such as dryness, blemishes, dark spots, discolorations, stretch marks, and wrinkles without clogging pores.
Organic Babassu Oil
Organic Babassu oil has incredible moisturizing properties, but unlike coconut oil, doesn't leave your skin feeling slick and greasy. It is also non-comedogenic, meaning it does not clog your pores. Babassu oil comes from the fruit of the Babassu palm tree, which grows wild in tropical areas of Brazil.
Organic Argan Oil
Argan oil is extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit tree, which grows almost exclusively in southwest Morocco. With its high content of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and vitamin E, the benefits of argan oil naturally help to revitalize skin, increase hair's elasticity and consistently restore shine to dull, lifeless hair. Argan oil for the skin luxuriously hydrates and infuses it with moisture, and has even been known to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
