Our Whipped Cocoa Butter is a super-rich all-natural moisturizer for your skin and hair. To the organic cocoa butter we add a blend of skin-loving oils and whip it until it is soft and creamy like the consistency of whipped cream. The whipped cocoa butter is slightly more solid at room temperature than our body butters made with shea butter, but will quickly melt into your skin. All of our whipped butters are made with 100% USDA Certified Organic oils and butters. Our whipped body butters do not contain water and therefore do not require a preservative. While there is no scent of any kind added to our whipped cocoa butter, it does have a light delicious scent from the organic cocoa butter.

Cocoa butter is well known for its ability to reduce the appearance of scars. Its anti-inflammatory properties help to relieve the irritation and discomfort associated with a variety of skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. Along with all the antioxidants it contains, it also contains polyphenols that are known to reduce the signs of aging. As an added benefit, cocoa butter is believed to have properties that protect the skin from UV radiation.

For best results, apply to towel-dried skin just after showering to lock in the moisture and provide your skin with a protective barrier.

Cocoa butter is also deeply conditioning for the hair and scalp. It can be applied to the scalp prior to washing your hair to moisturize your scalp, remove dandruff, and keep your hair looking shiny and healthy. It also works well in small amounts to moisturize strands of hair and help with frizz and flyaways.
