Return Policy

Our family (and many friends) have used our products exclusively for many years, and we're confident of their quality. We do recognize that ordering some products online can lead to a disappointing expectations and so we offer the following return policy.  Please read it, and feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about it prior to ordering.

Return Policy Summary

  • You may return your unused items within 14 days of the delivery date.
  • You are responsible for the return shipping costs. No shipping costs (to or from your address) will be credited. 
  • Once we receive the item (in like new condition), we will issue a Bay Berry Bliss credit for the amount you paid for the item.

To return the item(s):

  1. email us at info@bayberrybliss.com with your concerns. 
  2. Package items carefully for shipment back to us so they are not damaged during shipping.  The choice is yours, but we would recommend tracking numbers so everyone can see when the package has been delivered.
  3. Mail the package back to us at:  Bay Berry Bliss, LLC | 14 Church Rd. | Newton, NJ 07860
  4. Include your contact information (name/email/phone number), order number, and any other relevant information so we can properly process your return.

Defective Items

We make products with only the highest quality ingredients.  Usually the only defects we have is with the spray/pump bottle that won't work properly.  Please reach out to us before returning the item, since it may not be necessary to return. It might make sense for us to just send you a new spray nozzle for example. 

Not liking the scent or feel of a product does not make it a defective product.  We do our best to accurately describe the quality of our products on our website. 

Scents

The most common reason for wishing to return an item is "unhappy with the scent".  Sometimes the scent is too strong, sometimes it is not strong enough, and sometimes the scent is not exactly what was expected.  Please keep in mind the following truths about scent:

  • We do try to do our best to accurately describe the scent of our products.  Please understand that everyone's sense of smell interprets the same scent a little bit differently
  • The exact same scent will vary somewhat depending on what product it is used in.  Lavender soap vs lavender oatmeal soap vs lavender lotion all use the same scent, and all smell slightly different.
  • We are heavy fisted with all of our scents.  We do offer some unscented products, if you need help finding some of them, please reach out to us. That said, some of them are still stronger than others, which is also somewhat subjective to the individual. If you need help choosing, please reach out to us, we would be happy to help.
  • There will always be some variation in scent between batches.  We measure all of our recipes by hand using scales and graduated cylinders accurate to g/mL.  We do not make massive batches with computerized equipment.  We try to be as accurate as possible, but some batches may just smell stronger than others.
  • Your product is not defective simply because you don't like the scent.

Order Error

We work very hard to have your orders shipped out quickly and error free.  One person pulls the order and another one checks it.  Despite these quality checks sometimes an error still occurs.  If this happens to you, please take a photo of what you received and email it to us with your order number.

We will correct the error quickly and reship or credit you for what you should have received. If any items need to be returned to us, we will give you directions and a shipping label to return them at no cost to you.

Allergic Reactions

If you experience an allergic reaction to one of our items, please take a photo of the reaction (assuming it is in an appropriate location) and email it to us with your order number and what product caused the allergy.  We will work with you to quickly resolve the issue.

Repeat Returns

We reserve the right to no longer accept any returns and issue credits for people that repeatedly order and return items. This will be addressed on an individual basis if it becomes a problem.
