Hazelnut Coffee Scrub bar
Our Hazelnut Coffee Scrub bar smells like coffee with a hint of sweet hazelnut.
This soap is a cold process soap made with plant based oils. Olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, and castor oil, along with glycerin that is a byproduct of the saponification process (chemical reaction that makes soap) all attribute to the moisturizing properties of this soap. We do not consider this soap all-natural because of the use of fragrance oil for scent. It is 100% biodegradable, with no detergents, and no GMO's; just wholesome ingredients. Treat yourself to this affordable luxury; your skin and the Earth will thank you!
Each bar is handmade and will vary slightly in weight from bar to bar. These bars weigh approximately 4.5 ounces each after curing for at least 6 full weeks. Because of the handmade nature, please allow for slight variations in color and/or size. This is easily one of our most exfoliating bars of soap, and might be best reserved for removing serious grime from your hands. As an added bonus, the coffee grounds help to deodorize your hands at the same time; our unscientific testing shows this bar did outperform others in removing undesirable scents from your hands. The coffee grounds may be too harsh for softer skin, and therefore is recommended as a hand soap. This would make a great gift for a gardener or mechanic or anyone who gets their hands really dirty and/or smelly.
Ingredients: Olive oil, Coconut oil, sustainable Palm oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide*, fragrance oil, Castor oil, and finely ground coffee.
* Sodium hydroxide is an ingredient used to make the soap, but during the Saponification Process the oils and sodium hydroxide (lye) are turned into soap and glycerin. There is no sodium hydroxide in the finished product.
